The National Association of People Abused in Childhood (napac) is to run a press and poster ad campaign referencing the Jimmy Saville revelations, to encourage people to speak up if they suspect abuse.
If you are a survivor thinking about reporting the crimes against you, no matter how long ago they were committed, or if you are a person needing any kind of support, advice and information related to child abuse issues, get in touch with them. If you know of or have witnessed abuse, you MUST report it.
The NAPAC support line is free for anyone who calls from within the UK. Their volunteers are trained to understand the issues surrounding childhood abuse and will provide a listening ear to any adult survivor who calls.
